Darren has 12 years of experience in the industry (all with PKMR), during which time he has gained experience with a wide variety of project types, including health care, assisted/senior living, educational, multi-family, and manufacturing/industrial projects. While focused primarily on the design of these facilities as his career began, Darren has become much more involved with managing the projects he designs as his career has grown.
Darren’s areas of focus within PKMR, outside of project involvement, include managing the company’s migration towards BIM programs (Revit), as well as maintaining the company’s existing AutoCad software.

In your travels, name a country/time/place that has had an impact on you.
Have been to San Lucas Toliman in Guatemala twice, in 2006 and 2008, to help build multi-use buildings for local communities. It was always great to get away from the often hectic nature of life here in the United States, and just focus on helping others in need.
